Rear Suspension Adjustment

if you have just recently bought the bike, it would be worth strippig the rear linkage down to see what kind of state it is in, replace the bearings if there is any rust on them, if they are ok just grease em up, check the bushes, clean or replace. Depending on what you want from the suspension, standard should feel quite soft only bottoming out on the major hits, if its too soft wind the spring on say 5mm and test again, if it then feel too bouncy, give it some more damping on the little dial at top of shock. until desired feel is reached.
