Cracked Airbox!

I have a cracked Airbox right underneath where the fender attaches at the rear on the left side at the tab/ear like portion. Its actually a large gap, is there anyway I could plastic weld this back together? New air box cost 200.00+

    remove the airbox from the bike and take it to a large reputable motor body repair shop, if its a good one they will be able to idetify the kind of plastic it is and weld it up no problem as the repair plastic bumpers all the time. :D
