Hi All,

A friend of mine has just bought and 02 Beta Rev3. And I'm giving him a hand fixing it up. Sorry, I'm an 06 Sherco rider myself. And I previously had and 02 Sherco.

First question.

I need to replace the folk seals on the Pailoi folks. I have a new set of seals from when I had my 02 Sherco. Will these seals fit the Beta?...The tube diameters looks the same but I haven't taken them apart yet.

Second question.

I have downloaded the Rev3 maintenance manual from the Beta website. But it seems to cover (in Italian) all years. Are the maintenance specs really all the same across all Rev3's? Can someone please point me in the direction of an 02 maintenance manual or 02 maintenance Specs?

Also, after taking this bike out of the shipping crate (it was courired from Adelaide to Sydney), this bike would not start at first (despite many kicks). But after a 20 min rest it started 3 third kick without choke...is this a common for Beta's....that have traveled? The Petcock was closed when it arrived and I put fresh petrol in before attempting to start her.
