steam Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 if i leave the bike for a week on starting it the clutch will not clear at all until i have rode round for about 5 mins. it is then ok. i have replaced the oil with 400 cc of dexron 3 but the problem was still there today although this was the first time the bike had been started for a week. any advice would be appreciated Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

gasgas Posted February 24, 2007 Report Share Posted February 24, 2007 (edited) No, sorry, it is not normall. Right away with start up the clutch shld work. The clutch works with a disc-spring and debris cld become a problem when they have accumulated over the years. I assume this bike is not brand new? Start with cleaning the clutch inside-out.
