New Fan, Different Plug.

Featured Replies

I just got the new fan for my 2001 Gas Gas 280 TXT and the new fan has a 2 prong plug. The old fan has a three prong plug. One of the wires is a green color that is a ground. The DC converter has a three prong plug. I could ground the yellow wire from the DC converter and run the other two (red and black) to the fan. So what are you guys doing for the plug?

Hi

Had a similar problem with my sons 05 125 gasser recently - its new (04) retro fit thermostat came with no conector plug. I improvised by using 2 fully insulated plastic coated yellow spade connectors and sealed their ends with clear silicon - job sorted.
