Snapped Airbox Bracket

Featured Replies

Hi everyone, as the title says the two alu brackets that hold the airbox and hold the exhaust silencer in place have cracked on both sides,

im looking for replacement ones. does anyonee know where i can get some for a beta rev 3 200 , 2003 model. need fastt delivery.

cheers.................

Lampkins or BVM, both next day delivery and should be stocked items, think they are about 12 quid each

Happened to me too. Got 'em welded at the local engineering shop for a fiver. Did a very nice job, too!

MIne cracked on the silencer side. Took it off and had it welded. Worked out great. Was told it was probably caused by lifting the rear by grabbing the silencer. In fact the end that plugs into the mid-pipe was also broken out. Had that welded up and it's worked out great. Took it to a guy that makes custom Choppa's for a living. An artist with metal and welding...

I always lift the rear now by grabbing the swing arm.

Just get new ones! I had both sides welded and they just snapped over time. Not that much $ for new ones anyway! They will be slightly stronger as they are strengthened
