Hi, ok, i have a bit of a problem with my 2001 rev 3, it starts fine, it ticks over fine, it even rides fine, BUT when i need to give it a hand full for a nice big climb or just need that extra bit it lets me down by missing and back fireing loosing all power, i've cleaned carb, filter ect but cant find anything wrong, any ideas or any one had simular problems? any help or advise would be warmly welcomed.

sounds like the stator. either get it repaired or get a new one. search this forum for STATOR for more info. quite a common problem with betas.

Like Barry said, stick a new plug in (BPR5ES NGK) and give the main jet another good blow out with the air line
