Chain Link Connector - How To Get Off?

The U shape thing that holds the connecting link together (top right in pic)... whats the best way to get it off? Seems like i could snap it if im not careful... is there a technique to this anyone? Need to replace the rubber tensioners as they a WORN lol

get a pair of pliers, and push the clip off. then the link will come out. daz

Get yourself a pair of master link pliers. They are really slick. they have an offset jaw on one side, and a half moon cut out on the other. Of course, if your cheap like me, you take an old pair of pliers and make your own!
