May 19, 200719 yr Just wondering how durable the overall build quality is of the Beta Rev 3 250 including their engines. How do they compare with Scorpa in the two stroke realm. Cheers
May 19, 200719 yr Betas are overall a very well built bike, they probably aren't quite as reliable as the Jap engines in the Scorpa and Mont, but they are a well designed bike which requires relatively little maintainence. Having said that, the engines are very easy to work on, everything is relatively easy to get at, although sometimes you have to go what at first appears to be the long way round to get things off, such as the airbox and brake pedal; but that isn;t a problem because everything comes apart easily. Thanks for your comments. Reliability and build quality is most important for my needs, I had considered also the 4RT but like the idea of the easier, cheaper to service & repair 2 stroke,. Ive heard the Scorpa build quality is very tough but then i know montesa must be also so i guess these two are top for build quality. I'd be interested to hear more about your sons Scorpa, Montman. I am having a dilema in my brain about what to spend my
