May 19, 200719 yr can anyone help me? black oil comes out of the first exhaust joint on my 2001 montesa 250. I am running it on 50;1 Rock oil 2 stroke , is this right? Also I have no way of knowing how much gear oil to put in, Could too much damage it?
May 19, 200719 yr On the 2-stroke oil I run 80 to 1 even 100 to 1 in the winter, 50 to 1 is a smoke bomb and your tail pipe needs cleaned because I've seen them light up. Edited May 19, 200719 yr by gtgasgas

May 19, 200719 yr Get some degreaser or engine cleaner, remove the tail piece and or exhaust pipe, and wash it out. Never use gas just a good cleaner.
