Hi guys,

does anyone know which is for what on a 1981 349 as i will be adding a lighting kit soon. It has a green , pink and yellow wire but i'm un-sure of which one is for the headlight, horn and brake lights

From the mag, pink goes through the brake light switch to the rear light.

Green splices off with one going to the horn and the other to the horn switch.

Yellow goes to the light switch as the main feed for the headlight.

Black splices off with one going to the coil and the other going to the switch.

Then there's purple from the switch to the tail light

Brown, White and Blue from the switch to the headlight.

Red is Ground, and goes to the horn, headlight, tail light and switch, and frame.

[Thanks VC, I will give it a go next week. I was going to MOT it as day light only but what the heck , just add lights and it can be used whenever (or stay in the shed)
