how old do you have to be to get a 250 road registerd can u just take a cbt test at 16 or do you ahve to take a full test at 17 or 18?

16 is 50cc

17 is 125cc, then after test your limited to 33bhp*

so what if your 17th birthday is in november and your wanting to compete in the scotish six days the following year can it be on a 250

As soon as you past you motorbike test even if you are 17 you are limited to 33 BHP. So past your test as soon as possible and yes you can ride the SSDT on a 250 or a 270 if you like.
