June 10, 200719 yr Just re-building my 349 and i noticed some cracking on the bottom yolks from inner leg holes .There is a set of 247 yolks on ebay but i'm unsure if they will fit a 349 from 1980? cheers Dave
June 11, 200719 yr Author Yolks are for eggs, yokes are for bikes, and oxen....Yes they will fit. Thanks again VC. I must have mis-spelt due to the cracking!!!. Is this a common thing or just a one off as my 348's yokes are fine ? Dave
June 11, 200719 yr Probably a sign of a ham fisted mechanic. Look for the pry marks in the split where the pinch bolts pinch.

The last owner changed every cable and brake shoes etc but failed to change knackered rear wheel bearings! so its having new mains,seals,piston rings etc and be used on/off road when done Dave
