June 27, 200719 yr Clunk.... clank..... clank..... Yep mine does that too. If you grab the disc - you can move it on the posts - hence the term "floating disc"
June 27, 200719 yr the disc collars may be worn. replacing them helps. or if you dont want to spend the cash try rotating the 1/4 turn . that will give you fresh metal in the contact areas.
June 28, 200719 yr take each collar off in turn and put a blob of silicon around it and replace, be sure to re loctite the bolt threads, when the silicon goes off the disc will still move but will be damped by the silicon and no more rattle!
