Youth Trials Program

Featured Replies

I am looking for info to help setup a Youth Trials Program, both competitive and fun. In the US where I am from the youth program has some difficulty with Club rules and local government age restrictions. It really lacks IMO.

What I am looking for in particular is how some youth programs are setup so we may use it as a model to setup our own. Ages and competition info would also be helpful.

It seems in Europe in particular the UK where Trials is most popular that there must be some great Youth programs.

Any ideas?

In the past 6 years or so - our youth program has soared. We have a excellent National system in place that was just held in Tennessee. There's a West coast youth national coming in a week or so. Or national series is tailoring itself more and more for the youth. The JR class. The 125 class.

Other than hands-on working with the local clubs to enhance the youth class at local events, there's really a lot of tools already in place.

Believe you me, and you can just ask anyone. Other than Lane, I was one of the biggest critics of the system. Not anymore. We're on the right track and not looking back.
