White Rose Trial 9th Sept

Featured Replies

Just over a week to go to the white rose trial, we need more observers, on and off bikes, got most but could do with a few more to avoid having to ask observers to double up, some new land this year, some great new rock sections near to start area good for spectating, anyone who can help us please call Howard on 01132570187 or Penny on 01977648046 . any help much appreciated (we have a lot to do this year)

Anybody got any directions? I've been a few times but wouldn't mind getting a postcode or summat

I'll be bringing the bike if I go so will observe or marshall or whatever.

Cheers

PS

What time does it start?

this trial needs as much support as possible. its one of the best trials a trials rider will ever ride in and if you are doing the scott its a must, long may it continue.

Sorry Kinell, we were all away for the three days (friday, sat sun) got back at 10.30 p.m. sun night, for future reference start is cam head road off of kettlewell to hawes road right at top of hill just before you drop down into gayle, also thanks for the support physco, a comment like yours makes all the hard work worthwhile.

P.S. will post results on forum as soon as available

No problem, didn't wake up Sunday morning anyway :icon_salut:

Hope it was a good day for everyone...

Sad news long standing observer from the south midlands center was found dead in his van.

Russ lines who is always up at the major trials had driven up we presume on saturday night

ready for sunday's trial and what appears to have happened is he must have suffered a heart attack.

comming from the south midlands center ourselves we knew him well he will be greatly missed!

Yes this unfortunate incident turned what should be a great day for all into a rather more sombre one, commiserations to all who knew russ lines from all at west leeds motor club, he will be a great loss to the trials community
