August 31, 200718 yr The next round of the British Championship is being held at Hook Woods in Surrey on 16th September. I have been doing a bit of helping out in setting up some sections, and I just want to say "if you can get there its going to be a fantastic event". Jim Connor has spent months arrangeing this with the help of John Sands and many more, I can only describe the sections as being almost World round for the Championship class, and very challanging for the Expert Class. Some of the biggest trees in the World, let alone Surrey have been placed in some amazing places, some are ten foot in the air from floor to top. Jim has spent ages with the digger transforming the sections at Hook woods. It proves to be a mini Hawkstone, so if you can get there to see the first British round held in Surrey, you wont be dissapointed. Remember 16th September.
