Helmet Lights?

Featured Replies

Looking for a good powerful helmet light for use at night. I have seen one called a CYCLOPS helmet light that is either battery powered or can run off the stator. Anyone heard of these lights or use one for a bit of scary nightime trialling? Apparently they are imported from the USA and are mainly used by crossers and Quadbikers etc. Or does anyone use any other auxiliary lighting other than the headlight that is on the bike?

I use a NiteRider digital helmet light. I think it is intended for mountian bikes, but it works great for trials. The battery last about 4 hours.

I have a Light & Motion Arc Li-ion which i use for MTBing. With some working you could probally mount it to your trials helmet.

You do not want to mount it to your bike unless you have one on your helmet as well.

You want to see where your eyes are looking not where your bike is pointing.

Lupine are the best by a long shot but are double the price of the others.

My Light & Motion works really well and turns night into day up to 25 metres.
