Has anyone had any experiences of having a Beta 270 engine tuned by a professional, e.g Stan Stephens? One of the lads has been spending a bit too much at the burger van and needs a bit more thrust!

you are joking? the 270 should pull a 30 stoner up a hill no probs might be something else dropping the power

Had a quick ride on michael phillipsons 270 the other week and it was a beast. Far as i can recall that had a factory kit on it. Think you can get them from john lampkins.

my 08 250 has nearly as much grunt as my 07 270 did. i made the right choice going back to a 250

Clean the exhaust from front to back and repack the muffler. That should help.
