Wet Brakes

Featured Replies

Hi all......

The brakes on my '99 mont work really badly once their all coverd in mud and water during a wet trial are the any way that i can improve there effectiveness in the wet?

Danny

Need something to channel the dirt and water out...

Before doing this, Id get a second opinion.

You could get the brake pads out and use an axesaw to cut horizontal 'groves' across the pad.

Secondly, get the disc and drill holes into it....not exactly sure on that one though.

Like I said, get a second opinion, if Im wrong, please correct me.

you need a disk with holes or slots in like hrc said but i would try and buy some not jest drill them out or you could try using some disk cleaner every time you clean it to make them more sharp well that worked for me when my crapy techno brakes where not working
