December 27, 200718 yr Author Many thanks, Do you know,I had a feeling it would be you who would come up with the goods ! Many thanks once again,do you know the model and year of the bike used in the replica by any chance ? If you need a picture of the other side,I have one (as my dads on it 1939 ) Cheers Roger
December 27, 200718 yr Hi Roger, According to the information in my possession, it was probably the 1930 TT winning model of the Rudge ridden by Graham Walker, father of Murray Walker. 17 inch model trophy. Did your father win the trophy as a best first timer at the SSDT in 1939 and what was his surname? Winner of the trial in 1939 was Allan Jefferies. Big John
December 27, 200718 yr Author Thanks again for the info Yes he did win best newcomer in 1939,and the surname is Holden (Cliff)
December 27, 200718 yr So by deduction, you must indeed be Roger Holden, one time importer of Ossa (hence: Ossa Moto UK!) after Alan Kimber and Peter Fletcher who at one time did import Ossa to this country. Big John
