Where to find a silencer all depends on where you are at . Are you in the states ? If so www.lewisport.com can probably can help !! GOOD LUCK , cj

If you in the UK then BVM Moto I believe sell the WES silencer, alternatively look up WES whom I believe are in Wales. Also worth speaking with Sandifords as Montesa parts are not as expensive as some believe. A new dog bone link was around

Re: What year? Check the frame number on the headstock - believe the last digits indicate the tear - 01 / 02 /03 etc.

As for a silencer - I'd keep half an eye on flea bay, and give BVM Moto a call: 01453 762167.

it says 05 at the end of the stamped numbers(on the frame). and 03 after the letters on the metal plate on the headstock, what one will it be?

I've seen the bike and I know that it needs a twist grip assy.

Belive that'll be an '03 then.

Might want to double check before ordering any part...
