Fork Oil Height

Featured Replies

I'm doing my 1st ever fork oil change on this bike. When refilling with oil, the manual says spring should be installed. It also shows a pic with a 120 mm air gap for the oil height. With the spring in but the fork compressed the spring sticks out. Am I suppose to lift the outer fork tube just high enough to get that 120 mm??

I haven't gotten into the cartridge side yet .. any pointer on that??

Fork Oil - LEFT Take out the spring. Fork fully compressed, 120mm air gap at top of fork...

RIGHT Fork fully compressed, 60mm air gap at top of fork...

on the right leg its good to work the damper a bit so you get the right amount....
