my lads 05 125 has "lost" 3 of the bolts out the rear sprocket and 4th one was loose which has elongated the holes that hold the sprocket to the hub, does anyone know of a fix or how much am i lokking at for a new wheel?

The best way is to use helicoils.You drill the hole out to a given size,tap the hole,then screw a special wire insert into it,which contains the original thread size.Its a simple job if you are handy.Go to an engineers merchants,explain to them what you have done,they should be able to help.Not sure how much a kit would cost,but it wouldnt be that expensive.

Failing that,you could drill the holes out in the hub and tap them the next size up,but every time you put a new sprocket on you would have to drill the holes out(in the sprocket)to fit the larger bolts.

on the gasgas the hub isnt threaded its a nut and bolt job, unfortunatly its elongated what was m8 to nearly a 12mm slot... i did think about drilling out until i seen how much by

tried the local metalworkers and they wont weld it cos the wall section is to thin for the depth of weld... worth a try tho
