did a trial yesterday and late on in the trial, when the gearbox was hot, it became very hard to get from out of first to any other gear, one point i had to use my hand? it runs dextron atf 3 gear oil

would it be worth worrying about ?

Any debris caught around the gear shift mechanism? a stone, twig etc?

What year is your txt280? The clutch plate fibre material in the earlier Pro models had a tendancy to swell when hot making shifting sometimes impossible. Also make sure that you haven't run low on hydraulic oil.
