hi all

did a local trial on sunday and for no reason my bike just blew all its water out of the raidiator overflow pipe.

it was running well and then all hel broke lose and went up in a cloud of steam.

i have had this problem before when the fan stoped working but this time the new fan is quite happy buzzing away doing its job.

i have no idea on how to sort this out apart from set fire to the bloomin thing

any help aprecated!

Make sure your fan is running above idle. When I had an overheat problem the fan ran fine at idle but givi it some gas and the fan would quit. The was a wire broken on a capacitor that is attached to the voltage regulator. I resoldered the wire and that fixed it.

Are you leaving some room for expansion, it will push coolant out of the overflow until it finds the right level.

Or maybe the system is pressurizing through a failed oring or head gasket.
