what are we suppose to use???????????? gas gas 280 2001????????????

Rule of thumb is to use the highest octane you can procure/afford.

look in General trials forum ,,,the great how much oil heading there is a poll running on what people are using, but i must say i use super, mine seems to pink on standard. worth reading the 2stroke mix one as well

Gas Gas recommends 95 octane. Their tech guy says he mixes 20& ~ 30% unleaded race gas to premium unleaded to get the desired octane rating.

I would say, try it on unleaded and if it runs fine, that is good enough.

unleaded is fine for anyone

I run my TXT 280 on unleaded without any problems, so save a few pence and go for the cheap stuff. Normal unleaded is 95 ron which the previous post says Gas Gas recommend anyhooz. If you have a keen ear and think you hear a bit of 'pinking' or 'knocking' then try Super unleaded at 98 ron and see (hear) if the noise goes away ?

The UK Sherco and GasGas have stickers that recommend a minimumof 98RON Fuel. As Tesco and Shell have 99RON available I go with that.
