Camping At Hawkstone Euro Round ?

Featured Replies

Had my arm twisted to take my lad to the Euro Round

Is there any camping on-site at Hawkstone for non-competitors ?

Or any good campsites nearby with availability.

Looks a bit civilised for you Heath :-)

I may fancy camping one night - not sure which. I'm minding on the Saturday, so maybe Saturday night would be best, otherwise wear loads of padding Daz, I may be slow on the catching.

Someone at the classic yesterday reckoned there was on site camping - and a beer tent!!!

But that was yesterday - anybody know if there's any for the Euro round?

If not I'll try and have a ring around tomorrow.

Hope to see you all up/down there for the trial.

I know there is on site camping etc for officials but sorry dont

know about spectators.

They do have a website:

http://www.eurotrial2004.co.uk/

you may get a contact from there.

Stu

I'm minding on the Saturday, and volunteered for observing on the Sunday - not heard anything back about observing though so no idea if I'm an official or not at the moment.

Posted a question on the site - hopefully we'll be able to find out from there.

Hi r2w

Sorry...I didnt check TC while I was in Spain...so just saw your post about booking a tent pitch. Just let me check if I can get hold of a tent!!..then I'll get back to you....cheers

Well..

Me and the Mrs..and Heath FINALLY found a <mention of this company is not permitted on Trials Central> near Hawkstone..(not easy)...any of you out there planning to stop there..phone NOW..they all seem to be full.

Will be staying in Cockshut near Wem...and probably in the Leaking Tap pub for a pint Saturday night :D

 Cockshut??? Leaking Tap???? Blimey what sort of place is it!

I emailed and asked if camping was available for competitors/minders/observers/spectators.

The answer I got back said that as I was observing I could stay in the paddock, so didn't completely answer my question, but as long as nothing messes things up I'll be taking the tent along and resting my weary head within.

I've no doubt I'll nip out for a babycham or two.

Hopefully Heath will be very obvious in his Trials Central shirt..so we can all touch base during the day, and decide which watering hole to invade in the evening :D
