HI EVERYONE JUST REGISTERED AND GETTING INTO TRIALS. I HAVE RECENTLY PURCHASED A MONTESA 315 AND WOULD BE REALLY HAPPY IF SOMEONE COULD HELP ME OUT BY LETTING ME KNOW WHERE YOU DRAIN THE ENGINE OIL. THANKS.

hi there look under your sump plate theres a small hole that has a drainage allen key bolt.take it easy when replacing bolt easly cross threaded good luck and enjoy. :rolleyes:

i think you may be confused its the bottom bolt on side casing above the sump plate behind and just below gear lever,lean the bike over to drain :rolleyes:

THANK YOU FOR YOUR REPLYS I KNOW IT IS NOT UNDER THE BASH PLATE AS I HAVE TAKEN IT OFF. I WILL CHECK BEHIND THE GEAR LEVER. CHEERS

does anyone have any thoughts on which 2 stroke oil to use and what ratio to mix it for the montesa its 1999

Hi, put 80ml to 5 litres of fuel, as for which oil to use I swear by castrol but putoline, ipone, pj1, repsol are all good. hope this helps
