So my rear shock is broken across the lower mount. Can anyone out there help me out with a s/h shock, or let me know if there's an alternative to Sandifords? I'm guessing they're not cheap things to replace....

Surely you can buy a new clevis and need not replace the complete shock?

It's the lower shock body that broke - where the bearing fits. A clevis to me would mean the pin, is that what you mean?

There is a great shock called TRP,i had one on my 4rt and are a big improvement over standard.
