Steve Saunders - 3-day Trials School 2004

Featured Replies

The Saunders trials school was absolutely superb, it was even better than last year, which took some doing!

I'm hoping to put photo's on the gallery sometime today (just waiting for them to be emailed to me). The venue this year was unbelievable, set in a great piece of woodland - it had steep rocky gulley's, steps of all sizes, huuuuuuuuge steep sided banks, a bit of Yorkshire mud and loads of fast winding trails between sections. We had hot sunny weather, which made the going pretty tough at times especially when Steve made us ride a half-mile gulley twice! He said that it would be good practice for The Scott !!!

Steve's method of teaching was brilliant as per last year. He soon worked out everybody's ability and set sections out with several routes so that everybody could start off easy'ish and add in the harder bits gradually.

We all really enjoyed it - riding your bike for 3-days with a good group of blokes and a couple of very talented youngsters made it worth every penny - Thanks to Steve, David and Pete the landowner).

PS

Mike Little from the NE was there with his Dad who also took plenty of photo's so hopefully Hilary (Mike's wife) will post them on here too... :D
