April 5, 200818 yr The event began just a short time ago. Here's section 1. Pat took a clean, as did most riders. A shuttle is needed to get out by the sea-side sections. That doesn't leave until 11 AM. It's cold and very windy today.
April 5, 200818 yr Author Pat was tied for first with Francesc Moret after the first loop. Then the kid lowered his score down to 12 on the second loop. He has one five as the chain fell off. All other Junior riders are still on the course. Everything is unofficial.

April 5, 200818 yr Well done Pat and the US contingent makes the long haul over to Europe all worth it when you get on top of the podium. And well done to the Brits..................3 riders in the top four in the Championship Class, looks good for the Brits in the future of the WTC....
