Came across this today while reading a somewhat local blog by one of our friends. Actually it was in reference to flogging his 25 year old enduro style bike, and kicking a few butts, but it struck me just how applicable it really is to trials.

Cannot recall just how many times I have seen one of the old farts smoke the young'uns while wearing their jeans and t-shirt.

And and then there was David, who killed the experts at Octobertest a while back, on his pinky!

And really, I think just about anyone on anything built in this decade could be very competitive at even the highest club level and beyond.
