Hi guys, just a warning about more thieving B******S.

My bike was stolen from my garden shed at about 3:30 am thurs 17. april. in Blyth Northumberland.

My bike is a.... (WAS) a Gas Gas TXT 249 1999. in blue and was in almost mint condition as i had just finished restoring it. I thought it was safe and sound in my brick built shed in my back garden, the only way in is through a very narrow yard which has a 6ft locked gate at the front, a 4ft bolted gate at the rear and two very loud wheelie bins in between, the shed was also locked up with a very heavy duty padlock. It takes me....(USED TO TAKE ME) a good half hour to get the bike out of the shed, move the wheelie bins out of the yard, get the bike down the yard and through the narrow front gate which has my car parked right in front of it completly blocking it in. I stupidly thought that any thieves would never do this without making a massive amount of noise and waking me or my large dog. Unfortunately the thieving B******S weren`t thinking along the same lines as me, and after silently removing the padlock from the shed they lifted the bike over a 4.5ft side fence and simply pushed the bike out through my neighbours garden which wasn`t very secure and doesn`t have a large dog or a car on the drive. doh..... i AM an idiot.....

The moral of this story is that it`s no good thinking like a decent, respectable bike owner, YOU HAVE TO THINK LIKE A THEIVING B*****D, and it`s no good just looking at the security of your own place, you have to consider the neighbours setup aswell.

Anyway guys my bike is gone (devistating to say the least) and i just wanted you all to be aware and to maybe have a good think about your own security and take a look at it from the scumbags point of veiw !
