Hi my gas gas 125 2008 has a little switch with a sun and rain on it's handlebar is this the engine mapping +if it is has anyone got thougts on if it's really worth having ...any difference in the power

When these first came out i spoke to a well known Gas Gas mechanic based in the buxton area hint hint...he said that if ya flick it on2rain it gives a power boost at something stupid like 8 or 12 thousand RPM. So only handy with big splat steps. Basically iv had 2 GGs since and my brother also, so 4 bikes in total. We have just wired the switch on (rainy) and took it off. Less electrics the better less too go wrong. the way i see it if your hitting stuff that hard then cant be 2 bad to have that extra. At all other times its the same. This is unlike the shercos which have different mapping all the way through the power range. Hope this helps dude
