Hi all ,my mate has a fantic 241(i`m pretty sure thats what he said).Problem is,we cant get it going.(well we can,but we have to tow it with the forklift at work for about 100 yards till it starts,then when we stop it, try to kick it up it just wont go,not even firing)

The woodruff key is ok,as is the coil,good spark.The notches on back plate in the ignition are lined up.Carb been cleaned/blown out and plug is wet after trying to start.

I expected to find some points with the bike being old,but there isnt any,also.no cdi unit,unless its somwhere strange.Where??

To me,there doesnt seem to be much compression,you can turn the flywheel by hand,and there is very little resistance,but when we tow it,bang it into gear,the back wheel locks up `till we bounce on it,so it seems there is compression.

Any suggestions please
