I have a Beta Techno from the early 1990's. Unfortunately it did not run for about 3 or 4 years. But now I want to reactivate it.

Which oil does it need?

IF it's been stood that long,i'd change your gearbox oil, and if it's had petrol in that long i would change that also,we use either pj1 light clutch tuner or motul in the gearbox and either pj1 or motul fully synthetic two stroke oil,i would also take the carb off and give it a good clean out with carb cleaner and a airline

i am not realy sure of the petrol/oil mix but i would think about 50:1

not that this has anything to do with you getting your bike running but what colour are the plastics so i can tell you what year it is if you dont already now

also do what landrover said change gearbox oil for pj1 clutch tunner i use it and i think it is brilliant if you are using semi synthetic oil run it at 50:1

and if your using fully sythetic run it a 70:1 also put a new plug in it with fresh petrol and it should go maybe instantly or it make take ages who no's
