Scorpa Easy 280 1997

Featured Replies

Hi all.

Im back again with another dumb question. I have a 1997 easy 250. My mate is looking at buying a local 1997 Easy 280 and i will be going to have a look at it with him.

So what is the difference between the 280 and 250? Is it just a different top end or are there other differences too?

What should i be looking out for? What kind of things should be raising a red flag on it (besides obvious things like engine rattles etc)?

We are both mechinacally savvy, he is a bike mechanic and restorer and i have been stripping and rebuilding my bikes for about 15 years now.

Any help appreciated as always.

I should be going to see the bike tonight so any info at all about the difference between the 2 bikes would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

How doo i have a 1999 scorpa easy dont know if its 25cc or 280cc i have tried to find the differance but no joy.

had my scorpa about 3 months and the stator packed up , this seems a regular fault with the easy model, it loses its spark then the next day it will fire up . i have just had it re wound at west country windings
