315 Back Brake Problems

Featured Replies

The rear brake on my 02 gave up working at the last trial I rode and I've spent the last few weekends trying to sort it out but I seem to be losing the battle. I've put new pads in, given the calipers a good clean, bled new fluid through. Can't see any signs of leaks or bulges in pipes etc. When on the stand the pedal exerts enough pressure to stop you being able to turn the wheel but thats not enough to lock the wheel or come close to giving me confidence to actually ride the bike in anger!

Any help would really be appreciated.

Hi,i've had the same problem for ages, started with a melted hole in the pipe from fluid reservoir to master cyl.put a new piece of pipe in,rebled, new pads in,rebled still got the prob, not so bad,but not ideal. <_<
