June 21, 200818 yr whats going on with this gasser http://www.fredcrosset.com/photos/cros_074site.html Wouldn't mind trying a set of those out. Looks like it says Marzocchi on them...!?
June 21, 200818 yr Author yeh, the amount of times i see somehing that i would like to splatter in towns. i would love to take my scorpa to prissic plaza in boro. its a massive concrete skate park. my bike is regd but i dont have a licence. it would be frowned upon around richmond town center..
June 21, 200818 yr Looks like the break line for the front break is routed through the stearing head, much like a BMX bike. With the portion of the Forks "missing" between the lower and upper triple clamps I think he can spin his handlebars 360 deg. much like on a BMX bike. ???????????

I also think they are the 360 forks like the BMX guys use. Is this the same Freddie Crosset that was the 2002 NATC Pro Champ here in the US, or maybe his son? Jon
June 21, 200818 yr Yer pretty much the same kind of fork's fitted to mountain bike's. Bet your looking at 2 grand+ set of forks there. Edited June 21, 200818 yr by bilc0
June 22, 200818 yr Looks like he did a wild shave job on the ft tire. That lower tripple clamp setup looks pretty beefy. Did he have to switch to a mechanical ft disk brake ?
June 22, 200818 yr Just my two cents, BUT he cannot spin his bars 360 , as he still has a clutch line normally routed, that would interfere with that. if you look at the other pics, you can see it does allow him to go well past what would be full lock on a stock GG or any other bike for that matter ! Just an expensive customization as far as i can tell !! But very cool looking ! CJ
June 22, 200818 yr Not sure if Crosset's bars will do a complete 360, but Travis Pastrana did outfit an MX bike with 360 bars. So it can be done, just not sure if it was done to this trials bike.
June 22, 200818 yr Boy , I'm not real observant !!! I didn't even notice the clamps ... But to do 360's the throttle and clutch would have to pass thru the center too , So this bike turns far past 90degrees so you can turn around inside your own wheelbase without hopping ! BUT WHY ??? Bottom clamps do look quite strong though ! Glenn
June 22, 200818 yr The bar lever's don't look hydraulic so he can disconnect front brake as and when, don't know how he could do with out a clutch though. Edited June 22, 200818 yr by bilc0
