Excellent event. The man-made sections looked technical and very difficult. It was 2 laps of 8 sections but on the second lap section 8 was dropped. The four leading riders after the two laps were completed would go in to a head-to-head and incorporate section 9 to find the winner. I had to leave at 4pm which was just enough time to see Alexz finished his second lap. The riding from all riders was fantantic, Jack Challoner riding a 125cc getting through the tree logs section was amazing, and Wiggy being the first rider to get through the end gates of section 3 second lap brought about a big cheer. Some bad luck for Danby breaking his top yoke. His left fork was left loose but it did'nt stop him from completing his first lap. Lee Sampson had a rear wheel puncher on skips section needing a 10minute time out, tho the puncher may been caused by a massive splat he did in section 3. Browny was awesome, he or wiggy may have been leading after the first lap i know wiggy was definately at the top leader board. Dabill was unlucky in section 3 first lap, but rode well. James Fry rode really well being the first rider away as too Sam Connor had some very good rides. Sam Haslam produced some good rides on the new Gasser, which looked as if the sump guard had taken a bash and possibly at section 3. Section 5 had a really nasty rock step of about 8 feet, the best rides on this section came from the TRW riders. Section 8 the riders on Beta's looked to have an easilier ride.

A well organised event, and a spectators course. The sections were laid out on a 2+ acres site and not much bigger so easy to walk around. toilets, PA, refeshments all there.

Rider list:

Michael Brown

James Dabill

Alexz Wigg

Sam Haslam

Ross Danby

Jack Challoner

Lee Sampson

Sam Connor

James Fry

Sorry no photos, or lap scores. hopefully someone will post them up if they haven't all ready.

Superb Event.

Unfortunately Graham Jarvis and Sean Morris did not make it, but it was well worth spectating to see the fantastic riding of all the competitors.

Stu and Co. did an amazing job getting the sections just right. Many seemed impossible but all were conquered if not cleaned.

Michael Brown was incredible on the day and took the win reasonably easy from James Dabill. Alexz took a excellent third place having his

first ride after recent knee surgery and his Dad did a good job commentating all day. Jack Challoner took a well deserved fourth spot after some

phenomenal rides on a 125.

A real good tenners worth of entertainment - Well done to all involved - hope it becomes an annual fixture.
