July 29, 200818 yr How do I find out if I have boyesen reeds, and are they situated and the carburettor body. Also what is the quick way to take this out and take it apart to clean it? Thanks, Matt
August 22, 200818 yr hey there, to find out if you have boyesen reeds, you will have to remove the reed block (the thick block that bolts to the crankcase, 4 bolts). If you have Boyesen's then they will be 4 ultra-thin pieces of yellow plastic (may be dirty from fuel). There is no easy way to clean the barb out, you will have to take the airbox off to do this. thanks rob margetts
