I read on this forum that people turn their tires. This maybe a stupid question to ask but how and why please ? ;)

    When a tyre wears the square edge on the knobble becomes rounded and this compromises grip in muddy conditions. When the tyre is turned the square edge is restored, however a lack of grip will be apparent on descents after the tyre is turned for obvious reasons.
