hey all,

the plug on my 04 beta keeps coaking up till the point in which the bike cuts out.

what could be done to stop this happening

also, the bike starts without any choke.

yer

what oil are you using and how much? if its semi-synthetic it should be 70:1 if fully synthetic it should be 80:1. what colour is the plug burning? it should be a biscut/ chocolaty colour if not and your useing the right mixture, then its time to fiddle with the carb.

doh! just read your origanal post. if it starts without any choke it must be the carb. the bike is running too rich so you need to use the mixture screw to lean it up.
