October 10, 200817 yr Hi folks, i was thinking of treating my lady to a weekend watching the lakes 2 day. is there any camping there? is it a good one to watch? has anyone got any directions or can tell me how to get there from richmond n,yorks. cheers
October 10, 200817 yr Trial is held bang in the Centre of Broughton in Furness. I don,t know of any camping and most lodgings are booked up from one year to the next. Accomodation can be found in towns about 10 miles away such as Ulverston. From N Yorkshire you need to aim for Junction 36 of the M6 then follow A590 (signed Barrow in Furness) as far as Greenodd then turn right following Whitehaven/Workington A5092/A595 Broughton is aprox 7 miles from there. October 10, 200817 yr You wanna take the A66 towards penrith then take the kirby stephen road towards tebay jct38 of m6 then head south to jct 36 an follow as above me an the missus did it in an hour an a half tonight
