November 17, 200817 yr Does anyone out there know the clearance spec for an 2008 Beta Rev 4T? It is time to adjust the valves and I can not find the clearance specification. I have also noticed that when low on fuel in the tank the bike may suddenly stall. As soon as I top the tank up this glitch goes away. Anybody else notice that?

November 18, 200817 yr Valve adjustment- Inlet clearance 0.10mm Exhaust clearence 0.15mm Oil-.81 of engine oil Bardhal XTC60 15w50 I rotate mine on the swing arm pivot while on the stand.
January 1, 201214 yr Any tips on checking and adjusting valves. Sounds like the whole thing needs taking apart.
January 3, 201214 yr Undo the engine mounts and top bolts on the front engine support bars and rotate the engine with the rad in place. 0.1 and 0.15 sounds about right and I did the adjusters up snug on the shim. My bike has developed a little too much head noise and can feel a set of valve guide coming on. ...another guy on this site had the same problem a while back and am wondering if the early bikes had a design issue with them
