Gasgas 300 Speedo

Featured Replies

hi all can any one offer some advice on removing the speedo on my 2006 300 want to put a kill switch on but can't seem to find any threads relating to removal of said speedo cheers in advance

Oh heck, can't really remember. I just unplugged everyting until I was left with what I needed. I bought a KDX killswitch but can't remember where I plugged it in. PeteB will be able to tell you (he told me where to connect the killswitch).

You want to unbolt handle bars and the three pinch bolts on the top clamp. then undo the middle top nut

so you ca get the top clamp off. Then the speedo will come off.

I found a washer the same thickness as the speedo brakett and then bolted in all back together.

The wire for the kill swicth is the yellow and black wire comeing from the CDI box and a earth wire to

the back off the coil. gas gas wires

Did your speedo work ? was it in miles per hour or KPH???

Good luck, its not a hard job to do and worth it....
