Coming down from uni on sunday to ride rookhope trial, just wondered who else was going? In my opinion this is the best trial in the North East centre, well for the expert course anyway, lots of big steps, natural streams and the waterfall of course. Also bollihope(next week) and harthope are good.

Can't see Mickley Junction up there

Thats because the only rocks at Mickley Junction are the ones that get brought there stuck in between the nobbles of your tyres! I would definetly put it in my worst list of North East trials.

By the way, Rookhope is still the best trial, even though the waterfall was a bit too easy this year

I wasn't at Rookhope. been riding for about 1 year after a 15 year break. i was stopped on the moor riding up to the road at the Weardale Sunday trial, a couple of months back, in between section 9 and 10 i was knackered and you stopped to see if i was ok

oh yeah, remember that.

so why you stop riding then? job? i'm not getting as much riding in as i would like since i started university and will probably get even less in when i start work.

I've been to go kart track at Houghton. That was like Mickley Junction compared to Back Cwm
