December 26, 200817 yr hi all new to this and first time post hope someone my help, got a 2001 montesa and got a strange noise that seems to be like a rattle sound near chain front sprocket i think its the chain against the protector on the swing arm, chain is at the right tension but has anyone else had this problem....?
December 26, 200817 yr Hi,is the front sprocket a bit loose,mine was,it drove me nuts.or it could be a wearing chain.

December 26, 200817 yr could be the side of the chain hitting the footpeg bolts on the inside of the frame
December 27, 200817 yr Hey PP limp wrist, everything was loose on your 315!!! No wonder it rattled Cheers bud,i've had the Gasser in bits already!!!!!!!!!!!!!! shud av kept the mont!
