January 31, 200917 yr My 4rt offers no resistance from the throttle its just too light for my liking, I would prefer an action like an old bike pulling up a heavy slide against a big spring.It has a long pull throttle tube which also concerns me as i find it hard to get full throttle at times although I seldom need full throttle.But I fell i may get in more trouble if the throttle action is too quick although its not a hard or expensive mod to do anyone got any ideas what are you guys using ?
January 31, 200917 yr Paul you might have a slow action throttle on, if its black then its slow,white is fast. Check the spring in the throttle body, it should feel like a normal throttle to be honest as mine and all I have ridden are.
January 31, 200917 yr Author Yes sorry its a slow action (black) it closes real quick but it just opens realy realy easy=light to touch
January 31, 200917 yr Is it different to other 4rt throttles? if so you must have a problem with the spring I think, might be worth taking the cover off and see if anything has come adrift.
